Felt a Fanny™ – Brighton Girl Awards 2026 Finalist

I’m incredibly honoured to have been selected as a Top 10 Finalist in two categories at the Brighton Girl Network Brighton Girl Awards 2026:

Creative of the Year
Experience of the Year

Being recognised in both categories means so much to me, as it celebrates not only my creative practice as a felt maker but also the unique Felt a Fanny™ experience that I have been developing and sharing for the past seven years.

Brighton Girl Awards Community

The Brighton Girl Awards celebrate women who are creating, leading and inspiring within the Brighton community. It was a joy to meet so many talented and passionate women during the finalists’ social event at Platform 9.

These gatherings reminded me how vibrant and supportive the Brighton creative community truly is.

International Women’s Day at Churchill Square

As part of the Brighton Girl Network’s International Women’s Day celebration at Churchill Square, I hosted two Felt a Fanny™ needle-felting workshops upstairs at Inn On The Square.

Participants joined the workshop to explore needle felting and create their own felt vulva artwork in a relaxed, joyful and body-positive space.

The energy in the room was wonderful — full of creativity, laughter and connection.

The Awards Evening at The Old Market

I’m now looking forward to attending the Brighton Girl Awards ceremony at The Old Market on Thursday 18 March, where the winners will be announced.

Although I didn’t make the final Top 5, I feel deeply grateful to have been recognised as a Top 10 finalist in two categories.

Being part of this inspiring community of women is already a wonderful achievement.

Thank You Brighton

Brighton has been my home since 2006, and it’s a city that constantly inspires creativity, courage and collaboration.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the Felt a Fanny™ creative experience along the way.
